Playing Around

If it was a warm, windy, or sunny day, I would wear these:

Neons + Denim

I feel so comfortable wearing these, it made me feel like a child again.

I was just playing around during this shoot, I'm just happy to see the sea water hitting the walls of the bay walk.

The denim vest was once again my mom's, nothing beats a real vintage pulled from your mom's closet. I used the Primadonna boots in this picture. I put pictures here with me wearing 2 kinds of shoes just to give you an idea that this look can go with both heels and sneakers.

SM Accessories hat and chain necklace.
The neon yellow earrings were the ones I made in my previous post.

Surplus Shop neon top and violet sneakers.

My belt is neon yellow by SM Accessories, 'di lang kita sa picture.

The neon yellow bangle was the one I made in my previous post.

Sunset

I wanted to get out of my comfort zone so I decided to do this look.

Floral + Denim

And I was lucky to be photographed using a DSLR. All of my posts' pictures (except "Night Out") have been captured using only a digicam. I really thank Dennis Galac Bagunu for this opportunity. We experimented during our shoot, I enjoyed it a lot. And I'm so happy with the results.

Primadonna boots.

We took our shots on a sunset, on the baywalk at the back of Mall of Asia so my shots have windy effects.

I needed a floral dress so I raided my mom's closet to find this red and blue very vintage dress. I was glad to find it. I know my mom got lots of vintage items in her closet, because she hasn't thrown/donated her favorite clothes since she and my dad got our house.

I combined my floral dress with a Solo denim vest and an aztec metal necklace.

I used the combination of gold, white and black accessories to complete the vintage look I was trying to make.

The bangle which looks like a scale is the bangle I used in Creamy Dreams,
I really love this bangle, its so versatile, I think I will be using this more in my future posts.

I love the sunset, it reminds me of so many things I've been through.

"Even when the sun sets, it will return in the morning on its rise.
Waiting for its rise, longing for the morning light,
is the hardship you must conquer."

Creamy Dreams

Cream is clean
Formal when worn
Makes you feminine
Gives you versatility

Cream is neutral
It is universal
Cream can match anything
So wear accessories

Yeah! I tried to rhyme cream's attributes so I can describe it in a more artistic way. Nyaha! I think I suck.

Anyway, I just wore cream because I want to feel like a woman for just a while.

H&M Cream dress

I matched it with a turquoise feather necklace from Robinsons Accessories

I also matched my outfit with a gold bangle, that I didn't get to capture close-up.
I will use it again in my other posts so you can see it in close-up.

Cole Vintage Cream Wedge

This Liberte black and brown satchel really matches my outfit accordingly.
This bag can be both used with casual and formal outfits.

Playing With Neons

As promised, I used the neon accessories I made from my previous post.

The neons really stood out with my black dress. And I love it :)

I added other neon colored bangles to my arm accessories to have color combination.

I combined the neon necklace that I made with a SM Accessories metal chain necklace to give my look some edge.

I love this Figliarina color-block peep-toe pumps. I had a tough time finding a pair of shoes that will match any outfit that I will wear so I will not have a hard time mix-and-matching. I was really happy to finally find this.

I became fixated at neon accessories, I always look at them at online stores, so it gave me an idea to teach you how to turn your unwanted/old accessories to neon accessories, so you can use them again in a trendier way.

All you need is your unwanted/old accessories, preferably of metal or crystal composition, cardboard, and neon spray paint (can be bought at any hardware stores).

I will be using neon yellow spray paint for these examples.

I have been using spray paints for my art projects for a long time, so I don't find it difficult using it now, but if you don't have experience with spray paints yet, I suggest you practice first with spraying on to other objects before using it with your jewelries.

I used the crystal necklace and earrings, and the metal cuff that I bought for a very cheap price.

The cardboard is for protection for surfaces where you will do your spraying so you won't get paint on them.

I first sprayed on the metal cuff, then the earrings, and lastly the necklace.

Easy 'ayt?!

The paint dries off easily, so you don't have to wait for a long time to see the results.

Now I have my own set of neon yellow accesories! Yey!
I will use them for my future post, so stay tuned.

Comment if you want me to post how to do ombre accessories.

I hope you learned from this post and hope you can apply this to your accessories.
